Workshop 4: Writing Place
Whether you want to write about urban landscapes or the natural world, or create your own imagined places, in this workshop, we’ll think about capturing details that will set the scene for readers as we describe the world around us.
Writer-in-residence Amy Lord leads a series of writing workshops designed to inspire writers and generate new story ideas, as well as help writers to learn new story writing techniques and develop their self-editing skills. These workshops will encourage participants to enter this year’s short story competition.
This event will take place at South Bank Library 6pm-8pm.
