crossingthetees.org website is operated by ARC, Stockton Arts Centre Ltd. on behalf of Crossing the Tees Book Festival, a collaboration between the library services of Stockton Borough Council, Darlington Borough Council, Hartlepool Borough Council, Middlesbrough Borough Council and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council.
A ticket booking system is operated using Ticket Source. Ticket Source acts as the Data Processor. Any data collected via the booking system will be in line with privacy policy which you can read below.

Who We Are
Crossing the Tees Book Festival is a collaboration between the 5 library services located across the Tees Valley; in Stockton, Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.
What information we collect
When you buy a festival event ticket online via Ticket Source we will collect personal information you give us such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number and payment card details.
How we may use that information

Contract purposes
When you make a purchase from us or make a donation to us, you are entering into a contract with us. In order to perform this contract we need to process and store your data. For example we may need to contact you by email or telephone in the case of cancellation of an event, or in the case of problems with your payment, we will also send confirmation by email for orders you make online.

We aim to communicate with you about the work that we do in ways that you find relevant, timely and respectful. To do this we use the email address that you have provided. We will give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving email marketing communications.

There are certain circumstances under which we may disclose your personal information to a third party, Ticket Source, who process data on our behalf in order to act as our ticketing system software provider and payments service provider.
