Workshop 3: Writing Character

Characters are at the heart of every story, but it can be tough to make them realistic. Help your characters step off the page, as we think about developing the people who will drive your narrative.

Writer-in-residence Amy Lord leads a series of writing workshops designed to inspire writers and generate new story ideas, as well as help writers to learn new story writing techniques and develop their self-editing skills. These workshops will encourage participants to enter this year’s short story competition.

This event will take place at Thornaby Central Library 1:30pm-3.30pm.
