Steel River walk with Steve Nicholls

Join Steve Nicholls for a walk along the River Tees as he highlights some of the places and wildlife documented in Steel River. Attendees will meet at the Tees Barrage car park and enjoy a walk to Portrack Marsh to look for breeding marshland birds and dragonflies; back to the barrage and then over to Maze Park. Please wear suitable footwear. The walk is on mostly flat tracks with an optional climb up one of the slag hills to gain an overview.
