Steel River talk with Steve Nicholls (BSL Interpreted)

This event will be signed by a British Sign Language interpreter.

Steve Nicholls was born and raised in Middlesbrough before moving to Bristol to join the BBC’s Natural History Unit. He spent 4 decades travelling the world making nature documentaries. He’s also an award-winning stills photographer and writer. After a long career that took him from the high arctic to tropical rainforests, he returns to the north-east to travel along the River Tees. In Steel River he documents this journey through both the natural and social history of the Tees from mouth to source, the often unlikely places where he first discovered his love for the natural world.
